High Point Rescue
On Friday, November 9, 2007, a call came into 911 for a male with a broken leg trapped in
a 50 foot deep hole at a construction site. Ladder 7 responded along with their rescue
support truck. Once on scene, Ladder 7 assisted the members of Squad 18 and Rescue 1
with removing the injured man. Ladder 7 used their boom as a high point over the hole
while Squad 18 and Rescue 1 utilized their high angle ropes and pullies to remove the
male patient to ground level. Together, these three companies made another successful
rescue.
